Job Description

TAG-B Group is seeking an experienced Parking Office Clerk to oversee parking services for one of our clients. The Parking Office Clerk oversees the management and coordination of parking facilities and assists parking customers with transactions, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Must-have qualifications

  • Experience working in an office front desk setting.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite and willing to learn to use new software.
  • Experience in the parking industry preferred but not required.

Job duties

  • Daily Operations Management – Oversee the day-to-day operations of parking facilities, including entry and exit processes, payment systems, and facility maintenance. Ensure all equipment (gates, ticketing machines, and cameras) is functioning properly, coordinating repairs and maintenance as needed. Monitor and report on parking occupancy rates to ensure spaces are utilized efficiently.
  • Staff Supervision and Scheduling – Schedule and supervise parking attendants, enforcement staff, and other personnel to ensure adequate coverage. Provide training and guidance on customer service, safety protocols, and enforcement policies. Handle staffing issues, including conflicts, absences, and performance concerns.
  • Customer Service – Act as the primary point of contact for parking inquiries, complaints, and issues, ensuring a high standard of customer service. Assist customers with lost tickets, payment issues, or any access difficulties. Respond promptly to customer feedback and resolve disputes professionally.
  • Financial Management – Monitor and manage the revenue generated from parking fees, ensuring all payments are processed accurately. Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly financial reports on revenue, occupancy, and other metrics. Review financial transactions to detect discrepancies or irregularities.
  • Permit and Access Control – Manage parking permits and access systems, issuing and tracking permits for staff, visitors, and special events. Ensure proper record-keeping for all access credentials and monitor permit expirations or renewals.
  • Reporting and Documentation – Maintain accurate records of parking transactions, staff schedules, and incident reports. Generate reports on usage patterns, financial performance, and incident trends for management review.
  • Policy Development and Implementation – Collaborate with management to develop, update, and implement parking policies and procedures. Stay updated on industry best practices and local regulations, ensuring compliance and optimizing operations.
  • Special Event Coordination – Plan and coordinate parking logistics for special events, ensuring adequate space and staffing. Communicate with event organizers and provide direction to attendees for efficient parking.
  • Facility Maintenance Coordination – Identify maintenance needs and coordinate with facility management or contractors for cleaning, repairs, and improvements. Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of parking facilities, addressing hazards or obstacles promptly.
