Job Description

TAG-B Group is seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our team as a Parking Enforcement Officer. As a Parking Enforcement Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with parking regulations and maintaining orderly parking within designated areas. Your primary responsibility will be to enforce parking regulations, issue citations, and provide assistance to motorists when necessary.

This is a full-time position working daytime shifts (7am-4pm or 8am-5pm) Monday-Friday. There are occasional opportunities for overtime during evening and weekend events.
The planned start date is early to mid-August.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to patrol outdoors for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written)
  • One year of outdoor work experience preferred
  • Knowledge of local parking regulations and traffic laws preferred

Job Duties

  • Monitor parking meters and reserved parking spaces for illegally parked vehicles.
  • Use a handheld device to issue citations as required.
  • Communicate with drivers regarding parking regulations and handle confrontational situations with professionalism and tact.
  • Patrol parking lots and parking structures and report the existence of hazardous conditions to supervisors.
  • Attach vehicle barnacle and arrange towing services for vehicles as required.
  • Assist in traffic and crowd control activities.
  • Provide information and other general assistance to the university community and its visitors.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
