Was studying to receive my B.S. Degree in Business Administration. Was 6 credits short of receiving my degree before I had to leave school and go home to take care of my dying father.
Graduated with honors with a 3.5 grade point average and was Class Validictorian speaker.
Completed the CDL Driver Training Course with 6 months of manual training and 6 months of on hands driving
Work & Experience
Perform a pre-trip inspection of the vehicle before leaving the yards. Fill out a DVR report before leaving the yard. Drive the circulator route around the Pentagon picking up passengers. Document the passengers and check for ID as they get on and off bus. Re-fill the bus with gas and return to the yard. Inspect the passenger compartment for any lost or left items.
Was hired to provide paratransit bus for handicapped and special needs customers. Took the 3 week training course on strategic driving from Transdev. Background check took 3 weeks to clear, so I took another job with K&V Transportation.
Greet and escort patrons to their seats. Scan tickets with ticket scanner as patrons enter the Sports and Entertainment Center. Assist handicap and special needs patrons to their seats or any other services.
